STEP 1

Consultation

The design begins knowing our client, their homes, preferences, ideas and desires.  The goal of the first meeting is to exchange information, walk through the home with the client and understand their lifestyles and preferences.  Together we addressed the problem areas, solutions and their vision for the new space.

STEP 2

Proposal

After the initial consultation, a proposal to the client will follow, this is a simple documented agreement between our firm and the client which state what it will take to make it all happen, what’s is to be done, by whom, by when and how much would it cost. Once agreed and signed by both parties, the design work begin as well as hiring the right people for the right job.

STEP 3

Design Concept & Development

This phase involves the work of the designer researching, drawing, space planning, generating ideas, envisioning what the project will looks like, and how each individual space will be transformed to become something new while maintaining consistency through out the design process. Work is performed having into consideration clients needs and expectations toward the project. The design concept involves a team of people working on behalf of the project. At Interiors by Maite Granda, the designers are responsible for the creativity, layout and artistic evolution of the design concept, while the drawing department is in charge of all necessary drawings and elevations to support the visual presentations

As the design concept stars to develop, our assistant will coordinate with vendors and suppliers to check price and availability, request samples and pick up materials for demonstrations.

STEP 4

Presentation

Today’s technology allow us to make one to one virtual presentation not matter where you are.  We will present to you, the existing, and the new layout, the inspiration and new design concept for each of the areas to be designed.  The presentation, incorporates all selected furniture, lighting, accessories, materials, colors, rugs, partitions and much more to provide our clients with a a vision and a real feeling about the way the space will turn out to be.   For those clients residing out of the state, a box with all materials and selections will be mailed to them before the presentation takes place.

Following presentation, all comments from clients and designers are taking into consideration.   Any changes to be made would take place immediately to be able to proceed with the next phase of the job.   Timing is very important at all phases of the project.

STEP 5

Budget Analysis

A good design begins with a good design concept. You’re trying to solve a problem and your concept will lead the way and give you direction for your design decisions. How do you form a concept? What questions do you need to ask in order to develop one? How does your concept become the roadmap for your design?

STEP 6

Hire a Contractor

A good design begins with a good design concept. You’re trying to solve a problem and your concept will lead the way and give you direction for your design decisions. How do you form a concept? STEP 7

Process, Execution, Installation.

Working on a design project is one thing, but giving a clear and thorough speech on the project is often another. Simply informing your audience of the cold, hard facts may not be enough; when you are trying to sell someone on your ideas, you need to captivate them. Preparation is key. The time spent on your presentation materials will not be as evident if you do not put some thought into speaking skillfully about your desi
